Build multi-step conversion funnels to visualize drop-offs and optimize user flows.
Funnel Analysis
Funnels let you define a sequence of steps (page visits or custom events) and measure how many visitors progress through each stage.
Creating a Funnel
- Navigate to Dashboard → Funnels
- Click Create Funnel
- Give it a name and optional description
- Add at least two steps
Step Types
Each step can match either a page visit or a custom event:

|---|---|
| Page Visit | Matches a page visit by URL path |
| Custom Event | Matches a custom event by name |
Match Types
| Match Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Exact | Path or event name must match exactly |
| Contains | Path or event name must contain the pattern |
| Regex | Pattern is treated as a regular expression |
Reading Funnel Results
Once created, click on a funnel to see its analysis. Each step shows:
- Visitors — how many unique visitors reached this step
- Drop-off rate — percentage lost between this step and the previous one
- Conversion rate — percentage of step 1 visitors who reached here
- Revenue — total revenue attributed to visitors at this step
- Top sources — which traffic sources perform best at this step
- Top countries — geographic breakdown per step
Funnel analysis supports the same date range selectors as the main dashboard. Each funnel requires a minimum of two steps.
Managing Funnels
From the Funnels tab, you can:
- Edit a funnel's name, description, or steps
- Delete a funnel you no longer need
Permissions
- Viewing funnel analytics: Viewer role or higher
- Creating, editing, deleting funnels: Member role or higher
